The Foundation contributes to the expansion of ICT programmes and related formative initiatives by organising and promoting public and private sector extra-curricular activities and initiatives that are necessary to improve advanced digital and corresponding transversal skills required by the industry, instigating cross-disciplinary programmes such as ICT and other sectoral disciplines within and outside the formal education system, initiate formative programmes to address the weaknesses in digital, transversal, and entrepreneurial skills, facilitating skills development hubs and ICT thought leaders, align closer to industry demands through instruments such as internships, apprenticeships, and placements, initiate and execute targeted programmes to address the gender divide in ICT and related technical education to increase female participation in both the studies and workforce, foster partnerships and collaborations with other education and industry stakeholders and social partners for eskilling, upskilling an reskilling of the workforce, teachers and students, ICT practitioners and society.
