Education Initiative on ‘Digital Transformation of Artificial Intelligence’ – Friday, 8 December 2023
The European Digital Innovation Hub for Digital Governance GR digiGOV-innoHUB in cooperation with the International University of Greece launches a series of educational programmes entitled:
‘Digital Transformation of Artificial Intelligence’
The activities target both private and public professionals who want to learn about advanced technologies and their application to promote digital transformation in their organisations. The primary objective is to provide knowledge on the latest trends in data analysis, together with practical exercises and the use of selected tools in real scenarios.
The first activity will bring together experts from the European Commission, academia and industry, who will explore recent developments in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and their impact on modern organisations, covering both technical and business perspectives. This section will also include presentations on how Artificial Intelligence can facilitate the digital transformation, using concrete tools in real scenarios. The next activity, which will be announced soon, will focus on traineeships in selected tools, allowing participants to develop skills in designing and implementing data analytics in real scenarios. The series of activities will culminate in a third and final activity, in which teams will be set up to work on real problems and facts and present the conclusions and results of their work in an experience-sharing workshop.
The main points of the initial meeting scheduled for Friday 8 December 2023 are as follows:
- Overview of the objectives and initiatives of the GR digiGOV-innoHUB Innovation Hub.
- Overview of activities related to data analysis by the Directorates-General and the EU institutions.
- Acquainted with the applications of Data Science in both the private and public sectors, which will be presented by the KNIME Open Source Data Analysis Platform Operator.
- Case studies and practical real data applications, headed by the DORG group.
At the end of the action, participants will be informed about upcoming sessions focusing on digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
