Working Meeting on Innovation, Green and Digital Transitions in the Public Sector – Friday 26 April 2024
On Friday 26 April 2024, 09.30 a.m. – 03.00 p.m., a workshop meeting will be organised at the Conference Centre of the Ancient Olive Oil Campus of the University of West Attica (Seminar Halls 109A and 109B – https://maps.app.goo.gl/JZJBocJMgBFaC5MEA), in the framework of the European Innovation Hub for Digital Governance GR digiGOV-innohub and the flagship action Resilience, Inclusion and Development: Towards a Just Green and Digital Transition of the Greek Regions – JustReDI.
Participants will have the opportunity, among others, to:
● are informed about the benefits that can be gained, in cooperation with an ecosystem of bodies of Greek public administration and businesses,
● reflect, in the context of roundtable discussions and in cooperation with Hub technical advisors, their digital maturity and challenges needs;
● draw ideas for projects in order to increase their effectiveness and improve the quality of the services provided
● participate in a community of practice for the green and digital transition of the public sector by setting their priorities. In particular, the workshop will first present the components of the European Innovation Hub for Digital Governance, the benefits that can be generated for the public sector, the effort to create an ecosystem of actors of digital and green transformation to boost innovation and achieve the digital transition of public administration.
An action will then be carried out to record the needs for the development of new smart services emerging in public administration bodies and round tables with representatives of the hub’s representatives and consultants, which will assess the digital maturity of the participating organisations using appropriate tools as well as initial formulation of challenges for further maturation within the hub. At the same time, the first meeting of a community of practice 1 on the green and digital transition will be held, which will aim to identify the basic way of functioning and governance of the community, as well as the priorities and possible policy proposals resulting from the functioning of the community.
