Artificial intelligence for next generation energy (I-nergy)

The Riga Energy Agency (REA) has announced a second call for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start ups for financial support of up to EUR 100000 for the development of new services in the energy sector and for participation in a 9-month mentoring programme to develop and idea, as part of the project “Artificial Intelligence for Next Generation Energy (I-nergy).

Purpose of the call

The call is intended to develop new services in the energy sector based on the use of existing technologies. 

Who can apply?

Consortia of at least two organisations (legal entities) established in Member States of the European Union and its Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) or countries associated to the H2020 or the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland:

1. Service providers/developers with small and medium-sized enterprise status, including start-ups;
2. Infrastructure providers/data owners (in any legal form)

What are the areas of activity to be supported?

1.  Artificial intelligence applications in energy
2.  Data management and data valorisation in energy services
3.  Energy analytics applications
4. Monitoring, optimising energy consumption
5. Maintenance, maintenance forecasting
6.  Forecasts of demand

What support is available?

Financial support of up to EUR 100000 is disbursed in two instalments. The first instalment (up to EUR 20000) is allocated to the development of an individual mentoring plan and idea, while the second instalment (up to EUR 80000) is allocated to the development and development of a prototype.

Conditions of designation:

• 100 % financial support up to EUR 100000;
• 9-month mentoring programme;
