Funding

The European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking initiative aims to create the EuroHPC Academy to coordinate the creation of a uniform training and education system in the multidisciplinary field of HPC. For this purpose, the Call for the establishment of the Academy additionally requires the development of a Competence and Qualification Framework, the creation of a repository to allow access to teaching and learning materials, and the institutionalisation of an assessment and certification scheme.

Areas

Proposals will focus on High-Performance Computing while also targeting related areas such as quantum computing or other emerging technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The proposal must be submitted by a consortium of a minimum of 3 independent entities from 3 different eligible countries

  • Eligible countries include EU Member States or countries participating in the Digital Europe Programme at the date of the signature of the grant agreement

Funding

  • Total Budget: up to 6 million EUR

  • Amount per project: 4 million – 6 million EUR

  • Number of funded project proposals: 1

Timeline

The deadline to submit applications is set to 6 June 2024 at 17:00 CEST, Brussels time. The results of the evaluation of the proposals will be announced in August 2024.
