The Spirit Project (Scalable Platform for Innovations on Real-time Immersive Telepresence), funded by the Horizon Europe programme, aims to involve different types of organisations to test their immersive telepresence applications. The Spirit Open Call aims to develop further and enrich the platform through the testing of third-party applications in specific use cases and scenarios.

Objectives

• Experiment on the response of the Spirit platform to third-party applications

• Through the experimentation, lead to the development of new requirements and features of the platform

• In general, enrich the future development of the platform

Eligibility Criteria

• Entities eligible to participate include SMEs, Industry, Research/Scientific Organisations, and Academia.

• It is possible to apply as a single applicant or consortium (max 3 partners)

• The consortium must be composed of maximum three organisations

• Eligible countries include EU Member States and Horizon Europe associated country, as outlined in this list

Funding

• Total Budget: up to 2 million EUR

• Amount per project: up to 200.000 EUR

• Number of funded project proposals: at least 10

Timeline

The deadline to submit applications is set to 27 May 2024, 17:00 CEST, Brussels time. The projects will indicatively start in July 2024 and have a duration of 9 months.
