Future4Refugees is a collaborative project between the Ukrainian World Congress (UWB) and the Polish Fundacja Ignatianum in Krakow. The initiative is designed to empower young Ukrainian refugees aged 15-18 by equipping them with essential digital competencies.

By leveraging modern digital technologies, the project aims to foster personal, academic, and professional growth among these individuals. Through partnerships with local schools and universities, the project connects young refugees in the Czech Republic and Poland, creating an environment conducive to their academic and employment advancement.

Get to know the initiative

Future4Refugees focuses on enhancing the knowledge and skills of young Ukrainian refugees through the application of modern digital technologies. The project employs a hybrid methodology that blends formal and non-formal learning approaches, accommodating the unique challenges and opportunities in the education of migrants.

By developing and piloting a hybrid training course based on the “Digital Knowledge Guide for Young Refugees,” the initiative engages 30 young refugees from Ukraine and 10 educators from Poland and the Czech Republic. This interactive course aims to empower participants to address real-life challenges across various spheres of human life using digital solutions.

Who are the beneficiaries?

The primary beneficiaries are young Ukrainian refugees aged 15-18 who are residing in the Czech Republic and Poland. Through the project’s hybrid training course, these young refugees gain valuable digital competencies that are essential for their personal development, academic progress, and future employment prospects. By acquiring skills in using modern digital technologies, these beneficiaries are better equipped to navigate various aspects of life and contribute positively to their host communities.
