Malta Digital Skills and Jobs Platform (LISP)

Under the “AI Competence for Sweden” initiative, ten Swedish institutions of higher education collaborate to create a knowledge platform and offer continuing education courses in AI for professionals. The involved institutions are Chalmers University of Technology, University of Gothenburg, Halmstad University, Royal Institute of Technology, Linköping University, Luleå University of Technology, Lund University, Mälardalen University, Umeå University, and Örebro University.

The initiative is flexibly designed to allow more institutions to join over time. Even now, several other institutions offer their own AI-related courses through the platform.

The knowledge platform builds on and complements ongoing AI-related efforts at the participating institutions. The practical work of developing the platform is carried out with two main focus areas:

1. A consolidated website displays the participating institutions’ educational opportunities aimed at the business and public sectors. This, coordinated by Örebro University, highlights educational initiatives within AI Competence for Sweden and is continuously updated with available courses.

2. Regular meetings are held between key individuals from the ten participating universities to effectively plan, lead, and coordinate the AI Competence for Sweden initiative.
