The “Course in PHP Back End Web Developer” by the UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) is a new course, launched in 2024 that takes place from May until the end of July.
The course is part of the DigiAdvance project, ran by the UAB, which has a goal of addressing the lack of digital skills in the SME sector through tailor-made, low-cost, demand-orientated training in key digital and emerging technologies – targeted at SME owners, managers and employees alike.
Course details
The fully-online specialisation course offers an opportunity for students to get skilled in the development of web applications (back-end part).
- Maximum number of students: 30
- Price: 104€ (financial aid and support is available via here). In accordance with the call for the SOC grant, there are also scheduled and periodic tutorials for students
- Teaching language: Catalan (50%), Spanish (50%)
What you will learn
Get a good introductory overview to web systems and architecture and start working on web applications in the back-end part. Learn the foundational concepts of server-side development, understand the main development frameworks and get to dive into main application configuration and testing tools.
The short course is ideal for those interested to become analysts and software designers, web and multimedia analysts, as well as programmers and designers.
