2. The scope of this professional development course is to help educators appreciate how innovative digital devices and software may be used in teaching and learning. Educators will be provided with practical guidance on how such technologies (such as data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital games and robotics) may facilitate teaching and learning, increase learners’ digital competence and/or enable equity in education. By end of this course, participants will be able to describe various emergent technologies and their value in teaching and learning including the social and ethical issues that innovative technology may pose.
