Course Content
Main contents of the course/Event and description In light of the above, this Digital Bootcamp for girls 12-14 years old (being the ages when they crystalise their future studies and career choices) will be structured as a 6-hours activity aimed to familiarise them with 4 different emerging technologies, make them aware of how these integrate with Information and Communications Technologies and where/how do they fit within the wide Digital Sector. The 4 emerging technologies in focus will be: Internet of Things, biometrics, augmented reality and natural language processing. Moreover, by having each of the 4 different technologies introduced by a women expert/trainer, the girls will be concomitantly making acquaintance and know personally women that work with such emerging technologies.​
