Main content of the training:
This Master’s Degree at the University of Linné gives you the knowledge to plan, manage and use information systems in activities and organisations. The programme deals with themes such as IS/IT for organisation, communication and coordination; ontologies and epistemologies; methods, methods and theories; and Big Data in organisations, businesses and society.

The programme is designed to provide flexibility and suit those who want a high degree of freedom to decide when and where to study. Much of the studies are conducted digitally, with communication via a learning platform.

Form of study:
The programme is offered on a full-time basis and as distance learning. It is based on interactive lectures, seminars and tasks. The studies are based on general teaching strategies such as group work, submission tasks, oral presentations and group discussions.

Career prospects:
After the training, you can work on projects to plan, design and implement information systems to develop activities.

Diploma:
Philosophy Magister degree in the field of information systems.

Sampling:
The selection is based on previous studies. Informatics is a broad area that covers many backgrounds that can be incorporated into the topic.

Competence:
Basic qualification for advanced studies and specific qualifications in Engelska 6 or equivalent.

Study fee:
Free of charge for EU/EEA students. A total of SEK 292 000 for students outside the EU/EEA.
