Course Description:
The “Women Transforming STEAM” is a series of seminars that are fully funded by the eSkills Malta Foundation and organised buy by the European Institute for Emerging Technologies (https://www.eiet.edu.mt) in collaboration with the European Institute for Innovation and Technology Community RIS HUB in Malta. It comprises of four 60-minute online sessions aimed at inspiring females of all ages to engage with and pursue careers in STEAM disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence. Each session introduces a specific area within STEAM, providing a foundational understanding of the field, followed by insights from successful female role models who share their journeys, challenges, and successes. Participants will gain foundational knowledge, inspiration, and practical advice from these industry leaders, fostering a supportive community that encourages female participation and success in STEAM careers. This seminar series aims to illuminate career paths, offer upskilling opportunities, and highlight educational pathways through the experiences of pioneering women in STEAM.
